Here
are some pictures from my trip to Boulder Colorado... Boy
what a trip! I figure I've marked in more than half of the lower 48 US states! ...and on both sides of the Continental Divide. The "Porz" would be proud.

New Orleans
|
First stop, New Orleans! I definitely recommend the Iberville Suites if you go to New Orleans. It's just a block off Bourbon Street and it's attached to the Ritz-Carlton. Their front-desk crew made check-in a breeze! I must say that New Orleans had some new smells I've never bumped into before! |
San Antonio

Next stop, San Antonio. We went to the Alamo and enjoyed their Riverwalk. I enjoyed the shade!
We stayed at the Fairmont where their concierge is a yellow-lab named Luke. His gig even rivals mine!

Santa Fe, NM
|
After the 100 degree heat in Texas it was nice to get to Santa Fe. The nights were cool enough to take advantage of the fireplace in the hotel room. |
Aspen/Vail

|
We spent a couple nights in Aspen (very nice!) and stopped for lunch (and some marking) in Vail on our way to Boulder. |
Boulder
|
The University of Colorado. It sure is beautiful here! Dad went to school here back in the days of the dinosaur. |
|
...Here I am with "Ralphie",
CU's mascot. I don't think I want to meet the real thing...

Saint Louis

We stopped at the famous Arch in Saint Louis on our way to Chicago... ...They had nice grass. |
Chicago
|
Dad has an office in Chicago but he doesn't go there much... ...We got booted out of Millennium Park (no dogs) but I did some markin' in adjacent Grant Park. |

We stayed in a nice hotel where I had a great view from the 18th floor. I've never been that high before. I especially liked the lights at night. The city was just like a big nightlight... |
