Unbound '24 is in the books at 1,930 miles +/- (except for Ian who logged 6,700 miles riding to/from Pensacola, FL for the ride).  It was another epic ride with great roads, great weather and great people, although the air-travel back to Boston proved to be a challenge (thanks to the Crowdstrike event and Delta, I spent another 4 days in Missoula trying to get home).

Special welcome to a couple new members of the Unbound family go out to Sam Schlimpert and Ryan Mecouch.  Sam wasn't even born yet when Tim Schlimpert first joined me on Unbound '99 and I was glad to hear from the other young-gun Ryan that he was pleased with the ride-pace.  Apparently Mariah led him to believe that the old geezers like hugging the curb -- HA!.  As a special treat we were able to hook-up with another Unbound Alumni Don ("Red Rock") Hall in McCall, ID for dinner.  I have met so many wonderful people as a result of these rides over the years.  I look back on these rides as one of my most treasured and rewarding times on this earth.  As always, it was a treat to have my favorite "Mule Team" (Dave and Erika) in the rearview mirror again.

Here was the route (pretty much as planned):

...stay tuned for details on next year's ride.
